Stand-up streaming: How a New York comedian found applause online

The pandemic has devastated the entertainment industry in New York, and for many artists and performers that has meant finding new ways to connect with their crowd. 

Stand-up poet and comedian Catherine Cohen was making headway on her European comedy tour when the shutdowns began in March. She made it back to New York in time for her quarantine and performances on Instagram live. Here is her take on the digital era and what is in store for the next act of live entertainment.
